Terms & conditions

These terms apply to purchases in the Proper Place webshop operated by Proper Place B.V., [Street and number], [1234 AB] Amsterdam, Netherlands. KvK: [KvK number]. BTW: [BTW / VAT number].

1. Products and prices

All prices are shown in the currency on the product page and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise. We may correct obvious pricing errors.

2. Orders and contract

Placing an order through checkout constitutes an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm the order by email. Until real payments are connected, checkout may run in demo mode and no payment is taken.

3. Delivery

Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are shown before you complete the order. Free shipping applies above the threshold stated on the site (currently €75). Risk passes to you on delivery unless mandatory law says otherwise.

4. Right of withdrawal (14 days)

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you generally have 14 days after receiving the goods to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason (herroepingsrecht). Notify us at hello@properplace.nl within that period. Return the goods unused, in original packaging where possible, within 14 days of notifying us. You bear return shipping costs unless we agree otherwise or law requires us to pay.

Exceptions may apply (e.g. sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health/hygiene reasons once unsealed). We will state exceptions clearly where relevant.

5. Returns for defects

Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected. Contact hello@properplace.nl if an item arrives damaged or not as described.

6. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law. Otherwise our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

7. Governing law

Dutch law applies. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain available where they cannot be waived.
